I had a wonderful dining experience at this Japanese restaurant. The environment is elegant, comfortable, and very inviting, creating a perfect ambiance for enjoying a meal. The food was fresh and delicious, showcasing authentic flavors. The presentation was also beautiful, adding to the overall enjoyment. The only slight disappointment was that two of the dishes I was looking forward to, including sea urchin, were not available that day. Nonetheless, I was very satisfied with the other offerings and the attentive service. I look forward to visiting again and trying more of their menu!

For Utah, Chopfuku is probably the best sushi I’ve had so far - but that’s only saying something in the Utah sushi scene. I ordered the sushi/sashimi combo and really didn’t enjoy the white fish, while my wife had the sushi combo. Both looked great but the flavors were pretty muted overall. That said, the experience itself was really nice: the mocktails were excellent, the staff was super attentive, and they even surprised us with complimentary dessert. I also liked that miso soup and salad came with the meal. If you’re in Utah and craving sushi, this is likely as good as it gets, but it’s not quite on par with what you’d expect outside the state.

First time eating here and second time eating sushi. Perfect place for our team building day lunch. We made a reservation and they had the table all ready for us. It was clean, had a calm ambiance, and wasn’t too busy. I ordered the dragon balls appetizer and tango sushi roll. They were well-made and delicious. There are cooked rolls and non-sushi options as well. We were surprised at the end with a gelato sampler on the house. I will be coming here again!

My favorite sushi spot in Utah. Service is really good (rare for Utah). The Heaven role is our favorite but when I’m thinking about eating so much I get my own TLC show, I order the chicken katsu role. The interior is really nice not a corner that wasn’t given attention to detail. I’ve been given gelato with the check so I also really love that.

The setting is great - very pretty and good parking. Gelato was fantastic! They have unique rolls, which I appreciate. The sushi was good as well. Unfortunately, I did bite into a very hard, wide but thin fish bone while enjoying my sushi roll, specifically the Heaven roll. It was about an inch long. That definitely made this experience slightly negative.

A new West Jordan gem! The fish was fresh and delicious. The menu has some unique rolls and classics. We really enjoyed the UK and Angry Bird rolls. The service was excellent and pricing was very reasonable. They were out of the 2 matcha flavored desserts we wanted to try so we didn’t order dessert, but they brought us a different one on the house anyway. That was generous! We will definitely be back.

I recently visited Chopfuku and had a great overall experience. I ordered the Sashimi Tasting, Bento with Rib, Dragon Fry Roll, and the Best of the Best Roll. The Sashimi Tasting was absolutely the highlight of the meal. The quality of the fish was top-notch—fresh, buttery, and beautifully presented. It really impressed me and is definitely something I’d come back for. The rib in the bento was also excellent—very tender and flavorful. As for the rolls, I had high hopes for the Dragon Fry Roll and Best of the Best Roll, but personally, I found them a bit bland compared to the rest of the dishes. They weren’t bad by any means, just not as bold in flavor as I expected. That said, presentation of the Best of the Best roll was excellent. It came with wood smoke! One of the surprising parts of the experience was the interior design. From the outside, the place looks pretty unassuming, but the moment you step inside, it feels like a completely different world. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and slightly upscale without being intimidating. It’s a great place for both casual dinners and special nights out. Service was also very good—friendly staff, prompt attention, and overall a smooth dining experience.

I don't post super often, but really wanted to post about Chopfuku. The Sushi was so amazing. It was super fresh, and each roll had a wonderful flavor combination! The welcoming atmosphere was only beat by the friendly and welcoming staff. From the outside, I was not sure what to expect. However I was blown away by the design inside. The light wood, beautiful decor, and such a clean an sleek look set a great start for the atmosphere. In my photos, you see the Idaho roll with the Wonton Crisps, above the Heaven Roll. The other two rolls are the Hot Mama, above the Chopfuku. The drink is the As Yuzu Wish cocktail. This was only our first time, but will definitely not be the last! Delicious sushi and drinks. I can't wait to try more!
